La Manche est une mer qui se trouve entre l’Angleterre et la France. Elle se retrouve régulièrement au cœur de défi sportif.
Ce mardi 17 septembre, une Américaine de 37 ans a réalisé un véritable exploit, dans l’eau. Elle a traversé la Manche quatre fois d’affilée.
Au total, elle a nagé 54 heures.
Sarah Thomas a dédié sa performance à tous les survivants du cancer. Elle a elle-même été touchée par un cancer du sein.
Son traitement s’est terminé il y a un an.
